Hello everyone parts 8 and 9 of The Witcher Enhanced Edition Director’s cut were uploaded to youtube. Part 8 was uploaded last week on the 13th and I just uploaded part 9. We start part 9 after sobering up by talking to Shani to find where that little brat Alvin disappeared to. Then I waste 5 orens while talking to the Bard to get a character update for Dandelion. Next I pick up a glass of wine from Vesna Hood. Since Kalkstein was in the inn I finish The Ghoul Contract by giving him the blood that was requested. I also talk to Zoltan to get the quest Dice Poker: Novices then try gambling against the Gambler and lose more than I win.
After resting until night we head outside the gates surrounding the inn and should run into Vesna being accosted by thugs. By helping her removing the thugs and then agreeing to walk her home starts the quest She’s No early Bird. This is an escort quest so stay close to Vesna who luckily has more health than most peasants. Use fast style and group style depending on the amount of enemies. Just follow the path to the west until the main village. At every Eternal fire shrine you will get a cutscene and have to fight some Barghests. After you reach the village choose option 1 to have the option to get a bonus when you have wine and the rendevous with Vesna at the mill.
Since we are right by the miller’s gate we might is well finish the objectives of two quests. First we meet up with Mikul, make sure you have talked with Zoltan and you can challenge Mikul to a dice poker game. You only have to win one game for the quest Dice Poker: Novices to be updated.
Finally I head to the east of the mill to fight some drowners. Use Aard to finish the small fry drowners of quickly or to stagger The Monster of the Lake Nadir. In the beginning drink a swallow potion and if you kite the drowners so you fight 1 or 2 at a time use Fast style. Otherwise use Group style then when all the extras are dead focus on Nadir using Fast style. I got very lucky in this fight and barely took any damage because Mikul came to help and became my meat shield.With that you get Nadir’s head as a trophy and episode 9 is done.
