We start part 12 by heading to Odo’s house south of the inn. Doing this we will complete the final task to continue The Salamander’s Tail, finish The Secret Garden, and part of the Dice Poker: Novice quests. Talk to Odo in his house and keep drinking until you head outside. You will fight 2 Echinops in his garden while drunk so use Fast Style and Igni to defeat them. An easier way to win is to drink a Wives’ Tears potion right when you get outside. This will get you sober and so you can fight and beat the echinops with just strong style and igni.
After that talk to Odo again for the reward and then challenge him to Dice Poker. Win and you will fulfill an objective for Dice Poker: Novice. With The Secret Garden is finished, and the objectives for The Salamander’s Tail, and Dice Poker: Novice are complete. Head for the inn if it is after noon and before dusk you can talk to Leuvaarden to turn in and get your reward for Buried Memories. At the inn face Zoltan in dice and win, for some reason the quest didn’t update but that can be fixed in chapter 2.
Next we head to Abigail’s hut to finish another objective Of Monsters and Men, and The Salamander’s Tail. Talking to Abigail she will ask for 5 Myrtle Petals you should have picked up enough already other wise you can buy them from the Herbalist outside the inn. It will take a bit of time to make the potion so exit the hut and do what you want them comeback to continue the quests and find some disturbing stuff about the named villagers.
To finish up part 12 visit the inn and store your item that aren’t needed. Make sure you save at least one Barghest skull and a beast fang for a later quest. I will warn everyone DO what you need to do before you talk to the Reverend. Once you talk to the Reverend you CAN’T sell, store, or buy items so do what you need to do now because part 13 is the last part of chapter one.
