We start this part where we last left off after completing the objectives for three quests. So first I warp to the Cathedral and talk to Seteth to turn in Troubling Rumors. I immediately clean up my inventory a bit and then equip the leather shield to Dedue and give Byleth a steel sword. Now I head and talk to the Choir Coordinator and get the reward for A Passion For Music.
Now we get a chance to do our first Choir practice. After a bit of a mishap I eventually choose Annette and Mercedes. The Choir practice will increase support, Faith, and Byleth will get authority experience. Warp to the dining room and talk to the Head Chef to turn in the quest Creative Cuisines. This will unlock cooking together which will increase support, professor experience, and depending on the food, a stats up for all characters.
Now we head Fishing, look for colours other than blue for better fish and try to get perfect catches. I also do more than one time fishing but the professor experience goes down with each catch.
For the first week of classes I choose to have Dimitri do Lance and Authority, Dedue Brawl and Heavy armour, Felix will do swords and brawling. For the next few characters Ashe will study Lances and Bows, Silvain will study Lance and axes, Mercedes will learn Reason and Faith. Annette will learn reason and authority, and finally Ingrid will learn lances and riding.
For the group task Dedue and Annette will do some weeding. Make sure you chooses what you want for this because you will get gold and items. For personal instruction Mercedes will be taught bows, Felix will be taught reason, and Dedue will be taught Brawling and Heavy armour. With that done continue on and I got lucky and had Felix approach with I question. I told him magic will make him a better swordsmans which increased his morale, and my experience.
Now before I end this part I buy a Steel lance for Dimitri. A Iron Gauntlet for Dedue. Ashe is giving an Iron lance. Then Finally I buy an Iron Shield for Byleth. With that I end the part so expect our first skirmish fight in part 7.
